Weathercat 2
The recommended realtimeMT.txt upload and therefore also the CRON job interval, is one minute. If you are updating that file every 5 minutes for example, there is obviously no point in reading its content every minute and it would only overload your server. This obviously depends on the interval you set for your realtimeMT.txt update. For the interval choose ideally one minute.

ideally go to your FTP client and check that the file is really there and you can try downloading a copy to your PC and check that the tags have been replaced with the actual numbers.now the realtimeMT.txt should be periodically uploaded to the location on your server you specified with the current conditions.Putting a '1' without the qutation marks here would upload the file every minute, which is the recommended interval. in the 'Period' box choose a frequency to upload your relatimeMT.txt file.click on 'Set Path' and set it to 'realtimeMT.txt' at the location you chose in step 3 like 'Documents/WeatherCat Web/realtime/realtimeMT.txt'.You will specify a time in the next step under 'Additional Files'. choose a time for 'Update Web Page Every:'.
Click the 'Test' button to make sure your FTP is working and then click on OK if you get the message telling you 'All OK'.

It does not matter where you upload it on your server because you will specify the path in the update script later on. This is where WeatherCat will upload the data needed for the template.
